At Just Being Me Events Collective CIC, we create fun, welcoming and inclusive spaces for the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) community — including the incredible parents and carers who support them every day. Our SEND Night Discos offer a safe, joyful environment where young people and adults with SEND can enjoy music, dancing and friendship, while parents and carers come together, relax, and connect with others who truly understand their journey.

Up until now, every SEND Night Disco has been completely self-funded. We’ve never broken even — but profit has never been our purpose. These events are about community, confidence, connection, and giving both SEND individuals and their families a space where they feel seen, welcomed and celebrated.

We are currently applying for official CIC funding and hope to receive support in the summer or autumn. But we don’t want to lose the momentum we’ve built — or the happiness these discos bring to so many people.

That’s why we’re asking for your help.

We aim to host our next SEND Night Disco in the Brent, Barnet, or Harrow area. Each event costs around £800, which covers the venue, DJ, and decorations. We do not pay ourselves; every penny goes directly toward making these events possible for the community.

Your donation — big or small — helps ensure that SEND individuals, parents, and carers continue to have a place where they can dance, laugh, connect and simply be themselves. Any additional donations raised beyond the cost of the next disco will go directly toward future community events, such as silent discos, soft play sessions, and other inclusive activities for SEND families.
