Help Us Keep Our Family Together – Immigration Legal Help

Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. But right now, we are in a desperate situation, and I’m reaching out with everything I have — to friends, family, and kind strangers — for help.

My fiancé is facing deportation. We did everything the right way. We filed his appeal, paid the $800 filing fee, and followed all the legal steps. The check was cashed and we have proof — yet we never received a single update. No response. No warning. And now, out of nowhere, we’ve been told he must leave the U.S. by May 13th, or he will be forcibly removed.

Our hearts are broken.

He’s not just my fiancé — he’s an incredible father to his two young children, both of whom are American citizens. Although we share custody and have them only part of the time, when they’re with us, they’re home. They look up to him, love him deeply, and would be devastated to lose him.

I also have three children of my own. He’s stepped into our lives with love, patience, and care — and they see him as part of our family. He didn’t have to care for them the way he does, but he shows up for them every day with open arms and an open heart.

He’s a good man. A hardworking, kind, tax-paying member of our community who just wants to be here — to live legally, to work, and to continue building the life we’ve started together. But because of his immigration status, he hasn’t been allowed to work, which means I’ve been the sole provider for our household. It’s been incredibly hard — emotionally, mentally, and financially.

We need legal help fast — and it’s expensive. We simply can’t afford the cost of an immigration attorney on one income, but this fight is too important to walk away from. This is about keeping a father with his children. About protecting the only stability they’ve ever known. About love, and family, and the right to stay together.

We are terrified of what May 13th could bring. We don’t want our family torn apart. We don’t want to see the children we love — all five of them — confused and hurting. We are holding on to hope, and with your help, maybe we can still change the outcome.
