My family and I have lived in our home for 17 years, and it’s become the heart of our lives together. We’re currently in a rent-to-own contract that ends on January 19th, but despite our best efforts, we haven’t been able to secure a home loan. My husband recently made the difficult decision to change jobs so he could stay home and care for our son, who has Down syndrome. We also have two more children at home, both facing health challenges, and one is scheduled for surgery in February.

We’re still paying rent, which has made it impossible to save for a deposit and rent somewhere new if we can’t keep our current home. The funds raised will help us cover the amount needed to secure our house. If we aren’t able to reach that amount, every donation will go toward helping us find a new place to live and cover the costs of moving, deposits, and rent.
