Imagine being a child who’s never owned a toy, a book, or even had a full meal — then walking into a place where everything is free, and you’re told, “Take what you need, you deserve it.”

That’s what we do every single day at Relief Africa.

My name is Aderemi Adejokun, and I founded Relief Africa to give children in Lagos, Nigeria a place filled with love, learning, and hope. We run the only charity shop in Lagos where children can come to receive free books, toys, food, and encouragement — no questions asked.

But today, I’m reaching out with urgency and faith. The building that houses our charity shop — our home — is being put up for sale, and we’ve been given the chance to buy it. If we lose it, hundreds of children will lose a safe space that has become their second home.

Owning this space would secure our mission forever — giving children a permanent place to grow, dream, and belong.
