We are reaching out with humble hearts as parents of a beautiful and resilient 2.5-year-old girl named Addie. In April 2025, Addie was diagnosed with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is nonverbal, has significant sensory needs, and faces daily challenges that require specialized care and support.
Despite these challenges, Addie is incredibly loving, curious, and full of potential. She currently attends a specialized daycare that has become a lifeline for her development — offering structure, therapies, and individualized support that she simply cannot receive elsewhere.
Unfortunately, due to a sudden job loss in May, our family is now facing the heartbreaking possibility of having to pull Addie from this vital care. We are doing everything we can to find new employment, but we are asking for help during this difficult transition.
Addie has unique and complex needs:
She eats a very limited diet due to extreme sensory and texture sensitivities, and many of the foods she can tolerate are expensive.
She struggles with emotional regulation and requires sensory tools, calming toys, and specialized equipment to help her navigate the world around her.
Her daycare provides structured support that is critical for her development — and losing that would be a major step back in her progress.
We are committed to giving Addie everything she needs to thrive, and we are asking for support to help us keep her in the care that is helping her grow. Every dollar helps us cover the costs of her daycare, sensory tools, and dietary needs.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting Addie’s journey.
With gratitude,
Matthew and Samantha
