Unlock the Stage. Ignite a Generation. (Goal: £3,500)
Hey everyone, we’re Will & Luke, and we are on a mission to make the creative arts more accessible for young people in our area.
Imagine a young person with a powerful voice, a mind full of stories, but no creative outlet to explore their ideas. That was the core realisation—the gut punch—that led us to start our Non-Profit company, Accessible Arts CIC.
As artists and educators ourselves, we’ve seen firsthand how the skills learned on stage or in a songwriting workshop—confidence, teamwork, critical thinking—can completely transform a young life. Yet, we kept seeing those doors slam shut: high fees, impossible travel times, and exclusive networks were keeping the kids who needed the arts the most locked out.
We refuse to accept that silence. We founded Accessible Arts to be the Creative Bridge—an organisation dedicated to making high-quality creative education a right, not a privilege, for every young person aged 5–17.
Our Vision: Bridging the Gap for Good
We’ve poured our hearts into building our two key services: the Accessible Arts in-person workshops that we offer after-school and at weekends, as well as our grant-funded Community Impact Projects where we aim to support specific members of our community that have faced hardships or barriers to access of the arts. Our founders are both experienced in not only arts facilitation, but also SEND education, and are both passionate about inclusivity and ensuring that all young people’s voices are able to be heard.
The doors are open, the curriculum is ready, and the excitement is real. But to make this work permanent—to move beyond passion projects and become a stable, enduring resource for our community—we need to build our foundation.
This Gofundme campaign isn’t about just funding one small workshop; it’s about raising the £3,500 necessary to cover our essential, foundational startup costs so we can sustain our impact and welcome hundreds more young creators in the coming year.
Where Your £3,500 Will Go: Unlocking Our Potential
Every single pound you pledge goes directly towards removing operational barriers, allowing us to offer our services at the lowest possible cost or for free to those in need.
These costs include venue hire, allowing us to offer our services at a subsidised rate to allow access to more young people in need. They can also include costs for the purchase of equipment, props, costumes, instruments, etc., which we will be able to reuse over the years, ensuring we are able to uphold our policy on sustainability.
By helping us reach £3,500, you are giving Will and Luke the tools to professionally run this organisation, ensuring our time is spent teaching and mentoring, not wrestling with broken equipment or administrative burden.
You’re not just making a donation; you are becoming an integral part of the Accessible Arts story and a Founding Patron of the next generation of confident voices.
Thank you for believing in our dream. Let's make the arts accessible to all!
