Help Us House Vulnerable Immigrant Families

As I approach my 68th birthday I'm searching for ways to make a difference in these scary times. Many of you know I do volunteer work at my church #lakeviewpresbyterian and one of the ways that our congregation has felt called to support our community is to house an immigrant family in our building. We do so with partial financial support from @deerfieldpresbyterian and in partnership with @faithcommunityinitiative.

Unfortunately the family that we housed last year and had moved on successfully until very recently. Due to circumstances beyond their control, the mom and two children were forced to move back with us to protect their safety, at least until more permanent housing is arranged. So we are supporting two families now.

If you are looking for a way to make a small difference in this fight, but a huge difference for these families please contribute what you can. All funds will go directly to supporting the migrant families we house through Lake View Presbyterian Church. Any thing will help with their needs.
