Help Us Host and Support a Ukrainian Family

We are hosting a Ukrainian family of three and helping them get up on their feet. The

family is a mom and two kids ages 12 (son) and 14 (daughter). They are brand new to

London and speak no English, which means not only fundraising and physical support

but also accompanying them into the community for appointments and shopping etc.

They came with very little: a small suitcase each and their cat. When they were leaving

Ukraine, the oldest son (who was not allowed to leave the country because of

mandatory conscription) said “as long as the cat is ok he will be ok”, so the cat has

become a metric of their safety.

The kids were highly ranked competitive gymnasts in Ukraine and are very much looking forward to getting back into their sport.

They are lovely, kind and dynamic people. I have already been blown away by their strength and determination. They are so grateful for any support you can offer. Your donations will go directly to basic necessities, like rent, utilities, food, clothing,

household supplies, transportation, and gymnastic training fees.
