Help us honour our past, support Putney Remembrance Parade
Donation protected
Hi my name is Paul and I am fundraising to get support for our Putney RBL Remembrance Parade.
This year’s Remembrance Sunday Parade in Putney, London, on Sunday 9th November 2025, will be a poignant and historic event.
It marks 80 years since VE-Day and VJ-Day, and may be the last time our local World War Two veterans are able to take part in this solemn occasion. With over 150 participants, including veterans, cadets, school groups, and community organisations, this annual parade and service of remembrance brings together people of all ages in a powerful show of unity and gratitude.
But we need your help.
As a local branch of the Royal British Legion, our funds go directly to the Poppy Appeal, supporting serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families. The cost of putting on the parade, now over £2,000, is becoming impossible to cover without outside support.
Without additional funding, we may not be able to continue this treasured tradition in its full form.
By donating today, you are helping us honour the fallen, support the living, and unite our community for what will be one of the most significant remembrance events in our recent history.
Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
Whether you can give £5 or £50, your support will help us ensure that this year's parade takes place with the dignity, respect, and community spirit it deserves.
Donate now and help keep remembrance alive in Putney.
On behalf of the Putney Royal British Legion and the entire community we serve,
Thank you.
