It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our father, Bob Altuna, at the end of June. A father of five, Bob was the kind of person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He is missed more than words can say.
A certified master technician, Bob worked in the Rancho Cucamonga community at companies like Crown Lexus and Mitsubishi for 30 years. Bob had a true love for riding his Harley-Davidson and took great pride in it. He loved classic rock music and always had bands like Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin playing in his house. He had more stories than we could count and never hesitated to share them—whether with old friends or someone he had just met. He could talk to anyone, anytime, and always made people feel welcome. His warmth, humor, and easygoing spirit filled every room he entered.
In the wake of his passing, we are facing difficult financial burdens. We’re doing our best to keep the family home and care for Charlie and Frank—his two beloved German Shepherds who brought him so much joy.
We’re reaching out to friends, family, and the wider community for help. Any support you can give will go directly toward honoring Bob’s memory, covering essential expenses, and making sure his dogs continue to be cared for with the love he gave them.
Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and for helping us remember and celebrate the incredibly special man Bob was.
With love and gratitude,
The Altuna Family
