Help Us Honor Miss Lanell: Support for Care & Funeral Expens
Donation protected
Two years ago, my family and I were led by God to Wichita Falls, TX. We explored several homes, but I felt an unexplainable pull toward a modest manufactured home in a quiet community. I now know that The Lord was guiding me to meet a remarkable woman — Miss Dolly “Lanell” Louton.
We first became friends with her son, Troy, and soon after, Miss Lanell welcomed us into her life. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of spending time with her — listening to stories about her childhood, her work at Workforce, and her deep love for her children and grandchildren. We shared recipes, laughed over life’s quirks, and had heartfelt talks about faith, family, and the values that shape us.
Unfortunately, Miss Lanell’s health has taken a serious turn in recent months. She is now in the final stages of life, and our focus is on making sure she receives the comfort, dignity, and love she deserves.
Troy has been a devoted caregiver for years, putting his life on hold to care for his mother full-time. When he asked for help, I didn’t hesitate. Lanell and Troy have become part of my family — and I know I was meant to be here for this reason.
Now, we’re asking for your help.
As the Louton family navigates these difficult final days, they are facing rising costs for Lanell’s care and upcoming funeral expenses. Every dollar raised will go directly toward ensuring Miss Lanell is honored and remembered in the way she deserves.
If you feel moved to help, please donate and share this campaign. Your kindness means more than words can express.
Thank you and God bless you.
