As many of you know, Jaxon was born with an extremely rare genetic disorder called Cockayne Syndrome.

On August 4th, he was taken to the ER with severe dehydration, initially believed to be related to a formula change. He was quickly transferred to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital, where he was started on IV fluids.

What followed was a heartbreaking 4 month battle in the ICU. Jaxon fought through pneumonia, a rare yeast infection that required him to be placed on a ventilator, renal failure, and a serious A-line infection that ultimately led to the amputation of his leg.

Despite his incredible strength and the unwavering love of his family, on December 4th—at just 5 years old—Jaxon’s little body simply couldn’t fight anymore. He gained his angel wings, leaving behind a family whose hearts are forever shattered by the loss of their precious boy.

Jaxon’s celebration of life is planned for February, with the exact date still to be determined.

We know it’s the holiday season, and times are difficult for many. But if you are able to help this family lay Jaxon to rest and give him the beautiful celebration of life he deserves, it would mean more than words can say. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference and is deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness, love, and support.
