Help Us Honor Blanca's Memory

Necesitamos la ayuda de la comunidad para poder tener un funeral apropiado para mi hermana Blanca.

Un poco de historia sobre mi hermana, su nombre es Blanca Chacon Solano, nació en El Salvador, donde creció y formó su propia familia. A los 30 años le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en El Salvador, donde comenzó la quimioterapia y otros tratamientos. Pudo entrar en remisión. Luego se mudó con su familia a Nueva York, donde quería construir una vida mejor para su familia. Tiene un esposo y dos hijos, un hijo de 8 años y una hija de 6 años. En febrero de 2023, su cáncer regresó aún más agresivo y se propagó rápidamente a sus huesos. No pudo soportar la quimioterapia como lo hizo la primera vez y tuvo múltiples hospitalizaciones donde le drenaron líquido del corazón y los pulmones. Una vez que se sintió al 60% porque nunca puedes sentirte al 100% mientras intentas vencer al cáncer, la enviaron a casa. Luego fue hospitalizada nuevamente y tres semanas después, el 12 de Enero de 2025, mi hermana dio su último suspiro. Dejó atrás a un esposo amado y a sus dos hermosos hijos. Estamos pidiendo donaciones para ayudar con los gastos del funeral y usaremos el dinero no utilizado para las necesidades de los niños. Si está dispuesto a donar lo que pueda, le estaremos muy agradecidos.

We are in need of help from the community in order to have a proper funeral for my sister Blanca.

A little background about my sister, her name is Blanca Chacon Solano born in El Salvador where she grew up and built a family of her own. At the age of 30 she was diagnosed with breast cancer in El Salvador where she started chemotherapy and other treatments. She was able to go into remission. She then moved with her family to New York where she wanted to build a better life for her family. She has a husband and two kids, a son who is 8 years of age and a daughter who is 6 years of age. On February 2023 her cancer came back even more aggressive and fast spreading into her bones. She was not able to handle the chemo like she did the first time and has had multiple hospitalizations where she had fluid drained from her heart and lungs. Once she was feeling 60% because you can't ever feel 100% while trying to beat cancer, she was sent home. She was then hospitalized once again, three weeks later on 01/12/2025 my sister took her last breath. She left a beloved husband and her two beautiful children behind. We are asking for donations to help with funeral expenses and will be using any unused money for the children's needs. If you are willing to donate what you can we will be very grateful.
