Help The Pantry Obtain A Much Needed Truck

Please partner with us in making a difference in the hearts and lives of people who are in need of food throughout our community. Helping In His Name Ministries provides food assistance to those in need in our community. Our aging trucks are on the road every day to collect donated food. With both trucks approaching 400,000 miles on their odometers, repair costs are going up and becoming more frequent. We need a new truck!

Our Story:

In 1990, a group of Henry county churches joined forces with businesses and organizations to establish a food pantry that could help meet the growing food needs of many families and individuals within this county. Located in Henry county for over 30 years, we have become known as the “go to place” for help with food needs and hope. Our mission to feed families and individuals in need is carried out by a small number of staff and a large number of volunteers using donated food and money.

Today, we are still growing and meeting the ever constant food needs within our community. Our heart’s desire is for families and individuals to have food security.

This year, we plan to feed over 30,000 individuals, which will amount to over 2 million pounds of food distributed to families and individuals! To accomplish our mission, we are always in need of groups, organizations, and individuals to partner with us to help those within our community.

Therefore, we would like to ask you to please consider supporting this food pantry with financial donations - specifically funds to help us replace our aging trucks. With your support we can continue to meet our goal of feeding over 3,600 individuals every month.
