Anesthesia Mission Trip Fundraiser to Guatemala
Donation protected
Hello friends! We are currently pursuing our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nurse Anesthesia at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. This July, we’ve been given the incredible opportunity to join Refuge International on a medical mission trip to San Raymundo, Guatemala, to provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing essential surgical procedures in underserved communities.
Many people in Guatemala lack access to safe, reliable surgical care, especially anesthesia services. Alongside a team of volunteer providers, we’ll be offering anesthesia for surgeries to ensure patients receive the care they need to live fuller, healthier lives—something many would otherwise go without.
This trip is not only a chance to give back but also a meaningful step in our journey to becoming compassionate and globally-minded Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). It allows us to grow both personally and professionally while helping those in greatest need.
Your donation will help cover travel expenses and housing while we serve in local hospitals and clinics. Every dollar brings us one step closer to delivering hope and healing to those who need it most.
Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us make anesthesia care accessible across borders. We are deeply grateful!
