Help Me Build The Village
The Village started with one simple idea: no mom should feel like she has to do motherhood alone.
I started The Village because I know what it feels like to be a young mom trying to figure everything out while also worrying about money, your children, and whether you’re doing enough. I became a mom young myself, and I’ve experienced firsthand how isolating and overwhelming motherhood can feel.
I didn’t start The Village because I had everything figured out. I started it because I knew there were other moms who needed someone to say, “I’ve got you.”
What started as a small community for moms has grown into something much bigger. We now have moms helping moms, donated essentials, a Supply Shed, community events, and families who know they have somewhere to turn when they need a little extra help.
Now, I want to take The Village to the next level and work toward becoming an official nonprofit.
Funds raised will help us provide diapers, wipes, baby necessities, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, household essentials, grocery and gas assistance, holiday programs, community events, and emergency support for local families.
Donations will also help cover the costs of building and maintaining The Village as an organization, including supplies, storage, insurance, filing fees, and eventually a permanent space where moms and families can access resources.
The Village already exists. I’m not asking you to believe in an idea — I’m asking you to help us grow something our community has already shown it needs.
I may have been the one who started The Village, but it has never been about me. It’s about every mom who has ever needed help, every mom who has offered help, and every family that deserves to know they aren’t alone.
Every dollar helps. And if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser helps just as much.
The Village was built by one mom, but it was never meant to be carried by one mom.
Thank you for helping me build something that I hope will be here for moms and families for years to come.
