Help Us Grow: Dance Education & Community

Hello, everyone! My name is Donald Isom, and I am a teacher, performer, and event planner dedicated to advocating for the dance arts community. For over 19 years, I have been developing dance programs that support various genres, from hip-hop to Krump and beyond.

One of the programs I am currently working on is my dance battle event series, the Dungeon Dance Competition. The Dungeon is a platform where we host local and national dance battles, community ciphers, and spaces for networking and community engagement.

As we move forward with the Dungeon, we are entering an exciting new phase. We will now run monthly community sessions to foster consistency and growth in dance education and movement skills. Additionally, we are officially adding one-on-one battles to the program.

To support this next chapter, we are raising a small amount of capital to cover essential costs, including:

- Venue rental

- Payment for dance competitors (1v1 exhibition battles)

- DJ fees

- Water and snacks

- Production materials
