In April 2025, our world was turned upside down when our amazing Andrew, who was a fit and healthy 60-year-old, was diagnosed with an aggressive, inoperable grade 4 glioblastoma. He has been left with a very life limiting prognosis.

Andrew means everything to us. He is a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandad, and a caring friend to so many. Anyone who knows him will tell you he is always the first to offer a helping hand, the one who gives his time, energy, and kindness without ever expecting anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to do everything we can to help him.

The NHS has done what it can, but our options there are very limited. We’ve been researching and speaking with specialists, and we are desperate to try additional treatments that could give us more precious time with him. One of the first opportunities we persued In September was Dr. Mulholland’s hyperthermia treatment in London. Since October, Andrew has been attending the IOZK immunotherapy clinic in Germany. This has given him real hope - a better quality of life and a chance to stabilise the tumour for as long as possible.

We are asking for your help. Every penny raised will go directly towards funding Andrew’s treatments and the travel needed to access them. We want to give him the best chance to keep fighting this cruel disease, and most importantly, to give us more time together as a family.
