Dear Friends and our wider Community,
Will You Help us Fulfil our Deep Wish to Gift all Refugee (newcomer) Children in Avnstrup, Denmark?
Planet Love is a non-profit charity run by two sisters who explore & expose workable responses to both our ecological and social crisis.
Currently there are 175 children housed in an asylum near Roskilde with only their basic needs are met.
For 4 months we have run a community gifting campaign whose purpose is to enrich many children's lives.
Planet Love has succeeded in collecting the majority of gifts from our incredible local community in Denmark.
Every gift donated is worth around 150/200 DKK and we are delighted to have collected for a total of 139 children (Including around 30 secondhand gifts we have sterilised and wrapped ourselves)
To fulfil our deep wish to gift all children as equally as possible at the asylum. We are launching this final campaign to raise money for gift vouchers for the remaining 38 teenagers.
We believe the older children are more challenging to buy for and will be more grateful to have some pocket money to spend in the little hours they are allowed out of the Asylum.
In Denmark 50/100 kr does not go a long way, therefore we hope to raise 150/200 kr for each teenager, making our top goal 8000 DKK (including 6.4% Gofundme & transaction fee)
On this project Planet Love is working alongside the Red Cross for legal reasons, however we ourselves will buy, envelope and personally deliver the 38 gift vouchers, along with the 139 pre-wrapped gifts for the younger children, as soon as CVD.19 restrictions allow.
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT DAY! To bring all these children a very needed lift in spirits !!
