Our family has been hit with a string of bad luck over the past few months. Both my fiancé and I lost our jobs, and while we’ve recently found work again, we’ve been struggling to catch up on bills and keep our heads above water. The biggest challenge we’re facing right now is getting our car back before it’s auctioned off on September 14th. This car is essential for our daily lives—my fiancé uses it to drive to clients’ homes for caregiving work, and it’s how we get our daughter to school and make sure we have reliable transportation for emergencies.

We’ve been doing everything we can to turn things around. We’ve tried to save, but unexpected expenses like rent and repairs on our other car have wiped out most of what we managed to put aside. Despite picking up extra shifts and working overtime, we’re still falling short.
