Help Us Get My Kids In A Safe Home
Donation protected
Hello there!
I hope all is well with your family and loved ones. My wife Jennifer and I are reaching out at this time because we need your help covering the expenses associated with legal fees that have accrued over the last year while seeking the custody of my two children. Below is a brief history on how we arrived here.
Some of you already know that Carly Rice, the founder of Miss Carly’s, is the mother of my two children. I don’t offer this information readily to everyone I meet. In 2014 I was the sole caregiver to our children for 8 months and was under the impression at the time that I would continue to have them under my care moving forward. During the following 2 years I made many concessions that I didn’t agree with personally so that I would remain in my children’s lives on a regular basis.
In 2017, Carly and her partner Jacob decided to move into the commercial building owned by him that they now operate the Miss Carly’s organization out of. Unfortunately, they are operating this charity out of the same space where they live. There have been disagreements with this situation and the decision was made to seek legal action beginning in 2021.
Asking for financial help on this matter was a difficult decision and did not come lightly. We had reservations about making this plea and want to be transparent with what we are asking for so there is absolutely no confusion. The legal fees that have been accrued over the past year are close to $10,000 and will likely far exceed that number this year. Unfortunately, we are at the point where we need help to continue or we will lose our current representation on March 15, 2022. The current balance to prevent our lawyer from withdrawing from the case on March 15th is approximately $3342.50, not including a 45 min conversation I had this week with him. We could let him withdraw and get caught up, but it would cost another $2500 to re-retain him if the balance is paid after March 15th when his motion to withdraw is set to take place. If our representation withdraws from the case it will be a huge setback and delay the process.
Every single dollar donated will be going to legal fees and everything will be accounted for and documented. Receipts will be provided upon request as proof that your donation is going directly to the Law Offices of Bradley Tengler and Associates for your records. While we need $3342.50 by March 15th we are expecting more expenses to continue, so we have a goal set of $12000 total to cover additional legal expenses (Updated on 3/11/22). We are asking for your help in this matter at a very critical stage in the process of our case. Even a contribution of $5 goes a long way to helping out.
My wife and I are so absolutely grateful for any help you can provide us at this time.
You Rock!
