Help Us Get Justice For What’s Right

To all who read this,

I am reaching out from the deepest part of my heart to ask for support in a battle I never imagined I’d be fighting. For years, I have fought for the safety, happiness, and well-being of my precious daughters. I gave everything for them. Becoming a stay-at-home mother at the request of their father, solely dependent on him. When I finally made the painful decision to leave due to abuse—physical, mental, and emotional, I never imagined how much more my girls and I would face.

After the divorce, we shared 50/50 custody for two years, and while it wasn’t perfect, we began to find our rhythm, co-parenting as best as we could. That was until a simple request for a school change, prompted by my new job, turned into a nightmare. I begged my ex-husband to allow the girls to attend a different school just for the year to accommodate my work schedule, but he refused. In response, he filed an emergency custody claim, accusing me of neglect for not taking them to school for four days. As a result, I lost the 50/50 custody arrangement we had worked so hard to maintain and was reduced to being a weekend mother, something that is so far from the truth of my love and involvement with them.

This new custody schedule has been nothing short of traumatic for my girls as well as myself. They’ve cried in my arms, expressing their pain over being separated from me and have even shared disturbing accounts of domestic and emotional abuse while in their father’s care. They have begged me to keep them with me, and I refuse to let their voices be ignored.

Despite every effort to make things right and restore the balance of care they need, my ex-husband remains unwilling to work with me for the sake of our daughters. I can’t do this alone anymore. The emotional toll on my girls is immense, and I fear the lasting impact this will have on their well-being.

I am asking for help! Not just for me, but for my girls. They need their mother back in their lives, and I need to continue the fight to make that possible. The attorney fees are overwhelming, and I am reaching out for whatever assistance you can offer. No amount is too small. Your support will give me the legal help I desperately need to advocate for them and fight for a fair custody arrangement that puts their emotional and mental health first.

Please, help me bring my girls back to where they belong together with their mother.

With heartfelt gratitude,
