Help Us Protect Little Hearts – Fundraising for a Nursery Defibrillator
Hi everyone,
We’re Becci and Kade, proud parents of Isla, our little warrior who was born with Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome. This heart condition can cause episodes of dangerously fast heartbeats (up to 360bpm for Isla), but through every challenge, Isla has shown incredible strength. Her bravery inspires us every single day, and now we want to do something special in her honour.
This year, Kade is running the London Marathon on April 27, 2025 to raise funds to install a defibrillator at Isla’s nursery. While they provide a fantastic and caring environment, we want to ensure that in any emergency, immediate assistance is available—not just for Isla, but for every child, staff member, and visitor.
Why this matters: A defibrillator can mean the difference between life and death in a sudden cardiac event. While we hope it never has to be used, having one on-site could one day save a life.
Our Goal: To raise funds to purchase and install a defibrillator at Isla’s nursery, ensuring every child has access to life-saving equipment.
How You Can Help:

- Cheer Kade on as he takes on 26.2 miles inspired by Isla’s strength!
Isla’s resilience reminds us all to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenge. This fundraiser is our way of turning her journey into something that can help others. Thank you for supporting us in making a meaningful impact!
