Empowering Women in Manchester: Safety, Skills & Activist Training
We’re launching a Women’s Safety & Activism Conference in Manchester, bringing together 40 women for a full day of training, connection, and confidence-building.
We must equip women with the skills and knowledge they need to advocate for themselves on how mass immigration is impacting their safety. The North West has unfortunately been the epicentre for a lot of migrant based crime, most notoriously the grooming gangs.
This event will go beyond safety - we’re also providing activist training to help women raise their voices, organise locally, and drive real change in their communities. From self-defence and digital safety to campaign planning, public speaking, and knowing your rights, this conference is about giving women the tools to protect themselves and stand up for others.
This initiative is part of the Women’s Safety Initiative - we are a grassroots campaign highlighting the growing threat to women’s safety posed by unchecked immigration and foreign national offenders. WSI believes that open conversations, direct action, and community-led solutions are vital to restoring women’s freedom to live without fear. This conference will equip attendees not only with personal safety skills but also the activist training needed to challenge the systems and policies putting women at risk.
Your support will help us cover the venue cost, trainers, materials, travel support for attendees, and refreshments. Every donation helps build a stronger, safer, and more outspoken network of women in the North West.
Help us empower the next generation of women leaders in Manchester.
