Bereavement Fund for Jason Purdon
Donation protected
UPDATE: Shar has been able to travel to join Jeff, Don, and Tammy. Everyone's kind words and generous donations have been such a blessing to our family. At this time, the fundraiser is still up and running as these fanily members are away from their homes and work. Thank you to everyone for their kindness!
This is the Sullivan family. We are setting up a go fund me for Sharlene, Don, and Jeff Purdon. Shar & Don's son and Jeff's brother, Jason Purdon, has been missing since August 10th in Hope, BC.
The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help Shar (who lives in Ontario) and Don & Jeff (who live in Alberta), pay for expenses related to traveling, lodging, and other costs accrued while searching for Jason in BC. Don and Jeff travelled last week to join the search & rescue. Sharlene hopes to travel soon to be with Jason's family.
Jason's wife, Tammy, is also in BC searching for Jason. There is a separate GoFundMe for Tammy, to assist her while she is looking for Jason.

Jason was last seen on Tuesday, August 9th. He was wearing a blue/gray shirt and jeans. His truck, camper, and belongings are all still at the Telte-Yet campsite in Hope, BC. It is believed that he may have fallen into the Fraser River near his camper. Search and rescue teams as well as volunteers are looking for Jason on foot, in boats, and by helicopter. If anyone has any information on where Jason may be, please contact the RCMP (police file number 22-29917).
We ask that you please respect the privacy of Jason's family during this difficult time. Updates will be provided when they become available. Thank you to everyone who is willing to donate and help us bring Jason home!
UPDATE: We are deeply saddened to share that the search has come to an end and Jason's body has been recovered. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support.
