My roommate and I are facing an unexpected housing crisis and are asking for help getting back on our feet.

We were both laid off recently and fell behind on our rent while trying to stay afloat. Although we’ve since found new jobs and are working to stabilize our income, we’ve run out of time to catch up. Our lease is not being renewed due to changes with the property, and we’ve been given notice to move out.

We’re actively searching for a new place, but we’re struggling to come up with the upfront costs for a deposit and move-in expenses on short notice. We also have animals that depend on us, and making sure they stay safe and housed is a top priority.

Any funds raised will go directly toward securing a new rental, covering deposit and moving costs, and helping us get back to a stable position.

We’ve always worked hard to support ourselves, and we’re committed to getting through this—we just need a little help bridging the gap.
