My family and I have dedicated our lives to rescuing dogs, and right now we share a small two-bedroom house with our eight dogs and three cats. It’s been a challenge to keep up with everything—our home has major foundation issues, the water heater is broken, and there’s always something that needs fixing. We do our best to make it work, but it’s tough to provide a safe and comfortable space for everyone. The house was originally bought by my wife’s dad after her grandmother passed away, and none of us realized just how many problems it had until we moved in. Now we are moving into a new house with enough land for our dogs to run and be happy, and a home that’s safe for our family. We are now raising money to build an air conditioned and heated dog kennel for our 8 dogs so they have somewhere comfortable for them. Every dollar raised will go directly towards building a new dog kennel building for them, giving our pets the space they deserve and helping us finally have a place to call home. I’m reaching out for a kind gesture from anyone willing to help. My wife and I have always tried to do things on our own, with a little help from family along the way. We believe in treating others with kindness and putting positive energy into the world, and now we’re hoping for a little support in return. The only other time I’ve asked for help like this was when my dog was on her death bed, and the kindness of others made a huge difference.
