My fiancé, our children, our emotional support pets, and I are facing an unimaginable crisis. Our rental home has been declared unsafe by the town and will be condemned in just 20 days. The landlord has failed to provide heat and hot water, and black mold has spread throughout the house, along with dozens of other hazardous code violations. Authorities at the town, city, and state levels are now investigating the landlord, who has also subjected us to ongoing harassment and threats. With so little time to find a new place to live, we are overwhelmed and scared for our future.

On top of these housing challenges, my fiancé has been battling serious health issues. She went into heart failure in June, and we have been living without heat and hot water since then. In November, she underwent heart surgery to have a defibrillator and pacemaker implanted. Her condition remains very serious, and she is still recovering. Despite all of this, our landlord continues to harass us and is now trying to forcefully evict us with vile threats.

We are asking for help to cover moving expenses, security deposits, food, and bills as we urgently search for a safe place to live.
