I am a 37-year-old single mother of two beautiful daughters. Yesterday afternoon, during a severe storm, a tree fell on our roof, forcing us to pack up and urgently find somewhere else to stay. It was a terrifying experience for all of us, and now we are facing the challenge of being displaced from our home.
