These are my six children. They are the reason I found the courage to leave a domestic violence situation. Today, we’re safe in a domestic violence shelter, but we need help taking the next step into a permanent home. I’m grateful that my children can go to sleep knowing they’re safe, but our journey isn’t over. The shelter has given us a temporary refuge, but unfortunately they don’t have the funding to help families transition into permanent housing. That means we’re facing another obstacle, finding a place to call home without the financial resources to get there.

Our goal will cover a security deposit, first month’s rent, utility deposits, beds for my children, basic household necessities, and moving expenses as we rebuild our lives. If you’re unable to give, sharing our story would mean just as much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us create a new beginning. Your kindness is giving my children hope, stability, and the chance to grow up in a safe home.
