Update: Hello everyone! Thank you for your support. I have a couple updates:

1) I applied for state housing assistance; awaiting the determination. So, any funds will go towards moving expenses if we are approved.

2) I have spine surgery on May 14th. A spinal fusion at L5-S1 along with making more space for my nerves that are being severely pinched.

My children and I have been through so much over the past few years. We are currently living in an unsafe and unhealthy environment with emotionally unsupportive relatives in a conservative rural area. As a transgender and Jewish single parent, I want to move us into a progressive community where we can be near other queer and Jewish people and finally feel safe and supported. Our situation became difficult in 2022 after their other parent was arrested and convicted in a police sting, leaving me to care for my kids alone. Since then, I have struggled to make ends meet and provide stability for my family.

Recently, I discovered I have a serious spine injury that has made it impossible for me to work. I am waiting to be approved for surgery, but in the meantime, our living situation has become even more precarious. We need to secure safe housing and move to a place where we can thrive and be part of a supportive community. The funds raised will go directly toward moving expenses and securing a new home for my family.

All we want is a safe and stable home near people who understand and accept us.
