Hey everyone, my name’s Michael. My partner Jill, our 5-year-old daughter Lilly, and I have been living in our apartment for the past 6–7 years. This place has been our home — it’s where Lilly took her first steps, learned to ride her bike, and where we’ve built so many memories as a family.

We came home from taking Lilly trick-or-treating to find out that our apartment complex had been sold to a new company. They’ve given everyone a notice to vacate by December 5th, leaving us just over a month to pack up our lives and find somewhere new to go.

We’ve been working hard to keep our bills straight, but this sudden move is something we just weren’t prepared for financially. Between rent, deposits, moving costs, and setting up a new place for Lilly, it’s more than we can handle on our own right now.
