My dad recently passed away, and our family is facing an incredibly difficult situation. For years, Lori has lived in our home, caring for my dad while living on her social security income. I moved in two years ago to help care for both of them, especially as Lori has been bravely fighting cancer for the past 18 months. We always believed that my brother and I were on the deed to the house, but after my dad's passing, we learned that was not the case. Now, the bank is taking possession of the house on April 17th, 2026, and we are at risk of losing the only home we've known.

Lori has devoted over a decade to caring for my dad, and now she is facing her own health battles while trying to keep a roof over our heads. With her limited income and ongoing cancer treatments, and with me doing my best to support her, we are struggling to find a way forward. The sudden loss of our home has left us with very little time to secure a new place to live, and the costs of moving, deposits, and rent are overwhelming.
