I'm a single parent of a 25-year-old nonverbal son with epilepsy and on the spectrum level 3. For the first time in my life, I'm really struggling emotionally and financially. We've been staying with a relative, but I feel like we've overstayed our welcome, and it's become clear that we need our own place. My funds are just shy of what we need to move, and it's been a heartbreaking experience to realize I need to ask for help.
Usually, I'm the one who donates, supports, or advocates for others, so reaching out like this is difficult for me. The funds raised will help us secure a place to live by covering rent, a security deposit, and some moving expenses. This support will also give me the chance to get my son into a Day program, which will allow me to return to work and regain stability for both of us.
I know there are so many people in need, and it humbles me to be in this position. My prayers are strong, and I believe God will help others help me. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation to help us get back on our feet.
