We Lost Four Babies..But We Are Still Fighting for Hope
We lost four babies in three years..and we are still trying to become parents.
After years of heartbreak, I was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS) and suspected Hashimoto’s disease. I now require long-term medical treatment, monitoring, and specialist care just to have a safe chance at pregnancy in the future.
We are humbly asking for help to continue this medical journey because right now, we cannot do it alone.
Over the past three years, we have experienced the heartbreaking loss of our four babies.
In 2023, our first pregnancy ended in an ectopic pregnancy. In 2024, we experienced another pregnancy loss due to Small Sac Syndrome, and we lost our second baby. In 2025, we were told we were expecting twins, but later found out there were no embryos (blighted ovum). We lost our two babies—our twin angels, whom we never had the chance to name.
Through every loss, my husband has been my constant strength—holding me, grieving with me, and never leaving my side.
After further medical evaluation, I was diagnosed with APAS and am also suspected to have Hashimoto’s disease. These conditions require ongoing treatment, medications, and close monitoring, especially as we hope for a safe pregnancy in the future.
Treating these conditions is not a one-time process—it requires continuous cycles of care, adjustments, and specialist supervision depending on how my body responds.
We Are Raising Funds For Ongoing Medical Care
Because APAS and Hashimoto’s require long-term, cycle-based treatment and close monitoring, our goal is to raise $12,000 USD to support both current and possible future medical needs, including:
Immunotherapy & Intralipid Treatments — $4,500
(including possible repeated cycles depending on treatment response)
Laboratory Tests & Ongoing Monitoring — $1,500
(APAS testing, thyroid panels, hormone levels, and repeated diagnostics)
Specialist Consultations — $1,200
(immunologist, high-risk OB, and endocrinologist follow-ups)
Medications, Hormones & Vitamins — $2,000
(thyroid maintenance, immune support, fertility medications, and supplements)
Future Treatments & Possible Adjustments — $2,300
(additional cycles, treatment changes, and doctor-recommended procedures)
Emergency Medical Buffer — $500
(unexpected labs, medications, or urgent care needs)
Treating APAS and Hashimoto’s is a long and unpredictable journey, and many patients require ongoing cycles of treatment, monitoring, and medication adjustments before achieving a safe pregnancy.
This is why we are raising funds not only for current care, but also for the possible future steps our doctors may recommend.
We are humbly asking for financial assistance to help with the medical needs of my condition and our hope for a safe pregnancy in the future.
Any help given—no matter how small—is deeply appreciated and will make a meaningful difference in our journey toward healing and hope.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support. Your help gives us hope as we continue healing and holding on to the dream of becoming parents.
Someday, I know our arms will be holding a child meant for our family.
If you are reading this, please don’t feel pressured to donate. Even just sharing this post means the world to us and brings us closer to hope.
