Help Us Feed the Bellarine, Geelong Surf Coast
FEED ME BELLARINE GEELONG AND SURF COAST NEEDS YOUR HELP

The effects of COVID19 are here... we are starting to open more, and jobs are being lost fast, businesses are closing for good and mental health is deteriorating faster and faster with each day that goes past.
We are currently cooking 4100 meals a week.
We are delivering food relief to over 700 families a week, but we think we are hitting close to 1000 or more through our collaboration with other agencies. It is overwhelming
Our volunteers are running a 7 day a week program.. we don't close and we never will. Days look like 12-15 or more hours for those in charge and calls that we are receiving are getting more desperate. We cry down the phone or on the steps of houses when we hear some stories, or when the gratefulness and overwhelm of the recipient just comes flooding out.

Our costs are sky rocketing and our funds are low, our gas stove runs 7 days a week from 6-6 pm cooking meals, our vans and trucks are on the road 7 days a week guzzling fuel, the lights are on all the time as we work sometimes through the night.
Torquay and Geelong are almost ready to help take the pressure off the kitchen in Ocean Grove but we need help with our mobile kitchens to get them up and running to double or even triple our food relief for us and the agencies that we are supplying. Food containers are costing up over 1000.00 a week, we don't get these donated at the moment. We hope one day we will but for now, it is on us.

Feed me is here to stay no matter but we need your help to keep going.
Every dollar raised can help us create 2 meals.
Every cent you donate helps us keep the lights on and the stove cooking.
Soon we will have three doantion markets, three cafes and a stream of food relief vans running even more all over the region when COVID19 restrictions allows us to service the region the way that we can. Our full expression of us.
Our team of 100 volunteers are waiting to bring you a coffee no questions and no agenda and we can't wait.
Until then we will keep setting up,
We will keep delivering, we will keep cooking,
we pack meals 10 hours a day and we will keep doing that.
Thank you for your support. Thank you for sharing and thank you to those that use us, for reaching out and being vulnerable. for asking for help and allowing us to help you.
