Hi everyone!
I'm John Hofmann, and I need your help to expand our local community garden.
The Eastpointe Community Garden is important to me because it provides fresh produce to those in need. But to really make a difference, we need to add a new section of raised beds. This will allow us to provide even more fresh produce to those who need it most. We donate food directly to local residents, community pantry programs, and local senior housing.
Last year we updated the first set of beds, and that has allowed us to pull more than 200 pounds of food this year (and counting). Now we're ready to expand into "section two" of the garden.
I have the team behind the project ready to manage the additional responsibility, but gardens that give away their yields are not very lucrative.
I'm excited about this expansion, but it's going to cost a lot of money. So I'm asking for your help to share the burden of expanding with me. I will be covering any costs not covered by this campaign, so help me help the community!
One new bed costs $100, and we need a total of 15.
So if you can donate, it would mean a lot to me and the people this garden helps.
