Welcome to our GoFundMe campaign for the Elizabeth Gerling Memorial Legacy Scholarship & Foundation! The Gerling Family is honored to partner with the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties in establishing a fund in memory of our beloved Elizabeth.

Elizabeth loved many things: the color turquoise, MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check, any and all country concerts (her favorite being Miss Lainey Wilson), and most of all, her job and life's passion as an educator. Her over twenty years in various capacities educating and mentoring children from one end of the country to the other will never be forgotten.

We are proud to align with her beloved Columbus Elementary School in creating an annual scholarship to be awarded to two Proctor high school students who attended Columbus Elementary. The inaugural scholarships will be presented this year at the Elizabeth Gerling Legacy Dinner on June 13th. To learn more about the event or even better, join us, please click here.
