Help Us Donate Holiday Meals to Olympia Families

The past year has impacted the stability of so many families, and holidays are often a time when financial stress is intensified. Our goal is to assist as many families as we can through our program, which will serve the Olympia community on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will be providing family sized portions of Thanksgiving dishes, including vegetarian and nut-free options.
We are covering a decent portion of our expenses out of pocket including commercial kitchen rental, application fees for food grants, Food Handler Permits for new volunteers, and food transport to our point of distribution.
Our goal is currently set at $1,000 to cover additional supplies for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are looking for your help in purchasing:
- More food than we can attain through pure donations, we want to feed as many people as we can!
- Disposable containers and utensils for distribution
- Industrial kitchen cleaning products
- A freezer rental to store food between preparation and distribution
- A well stocked first aid kit for our amazing volunteers
Olympia's Kitchen Collective is an incorporated nonprofit organization run by students of the Evergreen State College. Our group has prior experience in mass food prep and serving holiday meals provided by charitable organizations.
