Hi everyone!
We’re a group of graduate social work students working with Christ Centered Ministries in South Central Los Angeles. Over the past few months, we created a bilingual resource guide to help community members easily find and access services like food, housing, healthcare, mental health support, and reentry programs.
This project came from a real need we saw in the community. Many people don’t struggle because resources don’t exist; they struggle because resources are hard to find, confusing to navigate, or simply not responsive.
To make this guide truly useful, we personally called every organization listed to confirm their services, hours, and how to actually access help. We also used clear, everyday language and created both English and Spanish versions so it’s accessible to more people.
Now we’re at the final step: printing.
We want to print physical copies of the guide so it can be distributed directly to individuals and families in South Central who may not have reliable internet access. The total cost for printing is about $500.
Your support will help us:
• Print high-quality copies of the resource guide
• Distribute them through community partners like CCM
• Make information accessible to people who need it most
Your support will help us get this guide into the hands of people who need it.
With gratitude,
L.A.N.D.A. Sharks
