Saving "Space" Center for LGBTQ Youth in Armenia

Join us on our groundbreaking mission to establish a revolutionary safe youth center in Armenia. Unfortunately, existing youth centers in Armenia fall short when it comes to welcoming LGBTQ+ and marginalized communities. On the other hand, the limited LGBTQ+ safe spaces in the country are not specifically designed for youth. This inspired "DiverCity" NGO to create a non-discriminatory youth activities center that caters not only to the LGBTQ+ community but also to feminists and other marginalized groups. We have merged the concepts of a youth center and a safe space, creating a haven that embraces everyone.

As a youth-led LGBTQ+ community-based NGO, our mission is to serve the needs of LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities. We have secured the perfect premises to realize our dream of creating a safe youth center. However, we cannot do it alone. We need your help to make it sustainable.

Our youth safe space center, called "Space," provides a platform for the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities to enhance their skills and abilities across various disciplines. We organize educational events focusing on sexuality, ecology, human rights, and legal matters to empower these communities.

At "Space," individuals have access to a free, fully-equipped workspace complete with complimentary Wi-Fi and a designated safe area. We also offer classes and workshops to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community and equip them with knowledge about their rights in various domains, including the job market. Our comprehensive approach aims to combat homophobia and transphobia by providing individuals with the tools necessary to navigate a discriminatory environment. By informing them of their employment rights, we ensure fair treatment and adequate compensation for their contributions to the workplace. Moreover, this initiative fosters networking and collaboration, multiplying the impact of our organization.

Through establishing this pioneering center, we strive to empower, educate, and uplift the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities in Armenia. With your support, we can keep this nurturing and inclusive environment for all.
