We are a group of young African Australians based in Logan, Queensland. Australia is our home, and we are proud to contribute to our local communities through work, study, volunteering, sport, and cultural life.

While we build our lives here, we remain deeply connected to the countries our families come from and the communities that shaped our cultural heritage.

This fundraiser is about giving back in a practical, respectful, and community-led way — supporting communities that mean so much to us and creating real, positive impact.

Our mission

is to support communities in Africa by using sport, music, food support, and education to create opportunity, connection, and hope for young people and families.

We believe that community-based activities — such as football, music, shared meals, and access to education — play a powerful role in building confidence, fostering belonging, and improving long-term outcomes.

This initiative is about working with communities, not for them, and supporting locally led efforts that create meaningful and lasting impact.

What We Aim to Achieve

Community Football Tournaments

We plan to organise local football tournaments in partnership with trusted community organisers. These events bring young people together, encourage teamwork and leadership, and provide safe, positive spaces for participation and personal development.

Music and Cultural Events

We aim to support music and cultural events that celebrate local talent, strengthen community connection, and honour cultural identity. These events will also create opportunities for emerging artists to perform, grow, and be supported.

Food Support for Families

Many families in these communities face food insecurity. We plan to support the distribution of locally sourced food, helping families access nutritious meals while supporting local suppliers and farmers.

Supporting Education and Aspirations

We want to support individuals pursuing education, training, or creative pathways by helping cover essential costs such as school materials, fees, or learning resources.

Where Your Support Will Go

Our initial focus will be on selected communities as a pilot phase, with plans to expand as the project grows.

We are planning for the first phase of activities to take place in or around December 2026. This timeline allows us to fundraise responsibly, collaborate closely with trusted local contacts, and ensure all activities are delivered safely, ethically, and effectively.

All funds raised will be used solely for the activities outlined on this page.
