Hi, my name is Lynda, and asking g for help is one of the hardest things I have done.
We are a multgenerational family of 10 living together in a 3-bedroom apartment. Over time, our family grew as we stepped in to care for loved ones - disabled parents, sibleys, and children - because family shows up, even when its hard.
Our home is full of love, but it's also full in every sense of the word. Bedrooms are shared, quiet is rare, and there are moments when the lack of space makes everyday life feel heavier than it should - especially for the kids and those who need care the most.
We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for room to breathe, for a safe and stable place where everyone can have a bed and sleep comfortably, move freely, and feel at ease in their own home.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 to use toward a sown payment on land and future construction so we can build a home designed for a multigenerational family. A home with enough space for children to play, accessibility for disabled family members, and room for everyone to live safely and comfortably.
This fundraiser represents the first step toward that goal. The funds will help us qualify, secure land, and begin the building process, while we continue working, saving, and planning the rest.
