Mati is my 13-year-old kitty that has been with me for the past 12 years and recently had to have an emergency vet visit. She had been throwing up all her food for 3 days straight. Due to our regular vet being booked a week out, and as per the vet's recommendation, I made the decision to take her to the emergency vet. Luckily, all the X-rays and tests didn't reveal anything too scary, but we are still unsure if there is an underlying issue for her digestive problems.

The total vet bill for all the tests and medication totaled just under $1500. I would do anything for my kitty, so I had to use some of my savings for moving out. Last year, I made the difficult decision to move back to my mom's house in Ohio after living in Michigan for 4 years. I am so grateful that Mati is okay, but taking out of my savings will definitely prolong my wait to move out.
