<div>Mati is my 13-year-old kitty that has been with me for the past 12 years and recently had to have an emergency vet visit. She had been throwing up all her food for 3 days straight. Due to our regular vet being booked a week out, and as per the vet's recommendation, I made the decision to take her to the emergency vet. Luckily, all the X-rays and tests didn't reveal anything too scary, but we are still unsure if there is an underlying issue for her digestive problems.

<div>The total vet bill for all the tests and medication totaled just under $1500. I would do anything for my kitty, so I had to use some of my savings for moving out. Last year, I made the difficult decision to move back to my mom's house in Ohio after living in Michigan for 4 years. I am so grateful that Mati is okay, but taking out of my savings will definitely prolong my wait to move out.
