Hello!

We are Mary-Anne and Kathrin, two students currently completing the Global Health minor. As part of our studies, we have the opportunity to participate in two inspiring social projects in Nijmegen: Van Tuin Tot Bord and Wereldkoks.

Van Tuin Tot Bord is a socially entrepreneurial organization for and by residents in Nijmegen. The mission of the organization is to make sustainable and healthy food accessible for all, while also connecting people. In three different districts of Nijmegen, residents are brought together, while gardening, cooking or eating.

Wereldkoks is a Social Enterprise located in Nijmegen, that facilitates a restaurant, where multicultural lunches are prepared. It belongs to the Wijkwerk foundation which focuses on integrating people into the working life again.

Over the next ten weeks, we will be supporting these projects. Not only by lending a hand, but also by contributing to their growth through collecting donations.
