It’s that time of year again. Remembering and honoring Kevin while giving back to the place we spent most of his life. CCMC is where we lived for almost two years. And being a single mother for the majority of our time staying there doing these mom survival boxes is the perfect way to give back and honor him at the same time. Every year since Kevin has passed I honor him by making survival boxes for mothers currently staying at the hospital. I call them mother survival boxes inside is everything a mother doesn’t know she needs for living in the hospital. Warm fuzzy socks, calendars, journals, ear buds, sleep masks, chocolate, hair ties, make up remover, etc. I make a box for every room on the eighth floor (where we spent almost all of our time) and two extra. It’s only with your help I’ve been able to do this the past 8 years. So if you’re able and willing please help me reach my goal so I can make it 9 years!
