The Point Comfort Seafarers Center is a welcoming presence for international seafarers and American merchant mariners visiting the Port in Point Comfort, Texas. Chartered in 2020 as a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of Texas, our volunteers assist hundreds of visiting seafarers each year. Our services include ship visiting, free reading materials, connecting seafarers with transportation and shopping, organizing Catholic Mass upon request and SIM cards. Our new building will offer free Wi-Fi to connect with their families and a safe place to relax off their ships.

Our buildings are completed shells but still needed electrical wiring, insulation, walls, plumbing, HVAC, etc. to make them inhabitable. Then we will be able to add the furniture, bookshelves, chapel area, billiards, and TV to complete the hospitality area.
