Hi everyone,

My name is Emilee and this October, my cousin Amy will be turning 21 — a milestone that means so much to all of us who know and love her.

Amy has been living with Niemann-Pick disease, a rare and progressive genetic condition that affects her day-to-day life in many ways. Even with the challenges she faces, Amy continues to inspire us with her strength, warmth, and sense of humor.

To mark this special birthday, my boyfriend Ollie and I are taking on a personal challenge: we’ll be competing in a HYROX race this October to raise money for a birthday gift for Amy — something meaningful that she can enjoy and remember.

We're hoping to raise just enough to do something nice for her, something that reminds her how much she’s loved and supported.
