We are looking for some assistance in organising funds to help our 12 and 18 year old sisters escape family violence and establish us as their new guardians.

10 days ago, their father was finally arrested in Adelaide after years of physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect. During this process, they took out intervention orders against him and can no longer return home.

With their mother having passed away from cancer in 2017, Leon and I are the only safe guardians to care for the girls. This means we are suddenly taking on the costs of raising a child, moving and rental fees (we can no longer live in our 1 bedroom apartment), and relocating them from Adelaide to Melbourne for their safety.

Despite being kinship carers, child protection have not and will not assess us as such, which means we are doing this with no government funding or support.

All money donated will go towards relocation from Adelaide to Melbourne, moving costs, furniture, school fees, and any legal costs required to formalise us as their legal guardians/carers.

Please help support us to give the girls a safe, loving home after a lifetime of neglect and abuse.
